Packing seal type round mouth rotary valve is a rotary feeding device designed for continuous conveying and unloading applications of dry bulk materials such as powders and particles. Its sealing structure adopts packing seal technology to effectively prevent material leakage and gas backflow, and is suitable for positive pressure, negative pressure or micro-pressure conveying systems. The inlet and outlet of the rotary valve adopt a standard round mouth structure, which is convenient for docking with various circular silos, pipelines, and pneumatic conveying systems, and is easy to install and maintain.
Features: Shaft end seals made of wear-resistant materials (such as polytetrafluoroethylene, nylon, polyurethane, graphite composite materials, etc.) are installed at both ends (shaft ends) of the rotor blades. Advantages: The sealing performance is significantly improved compared to the basic type, and it can withstand a certain pressure difference (usually <0.1 MPa). The structure is relatively simple and the cost is moderate.
Disadvantages: The end plate is a wearing part and needs to be replaced regularly. The sealing effect will decrease under high pressure difference or highly abrasive materials. Not suitable for extreme working conditions with temperature or chemical corrosion.
Application: The most commonly used type, suitable for most low and medium pressure difference (such as dust collector unloading, low pressure pneumatic conveying feeding/discharging, vacuum feeder discharging, etc.), non-high temperature, non-strongly corrosive material occasions.
