Mechanical seal type round mouth rotary valve is a high-end rotary feeding equipment used in high sealing and high cleanliness conveying occasions. Its core feature is the mechanical seal structure at the shaft end to ensure that the material does not leak, contaminate or flow back during the conveying and unloading process.
Features: Industrial standard rotary mechanical seal (single or double end face) is adopted at the rotor shaft end. It is usually composed of a dynamic ring, a static ring, a spring and an auxiliary seal ring.
Advantages:
Excellent sealing performance, can withstand high pressure difference (up to 0.35MPa or higher).
Long service life (under suitable working conditions).
Suitable for high temperature (depending on the sealing material), high pressure, vacuum, flammable and explosive, toxic and harmful, highly corrosive materials or critical occasions that require complete isolation of process gas.
Double end face mechanical seals can be introduced with isolation liquid (sealing liquid) to provide a higher level of sealing and lubrication/cooling.
Disadvantages: The structure is the most complex and the cost is the highest. High installation and maintenance requirements. There are certain requirements for material cleanliness (to prevent particles from entering the sealing surface). An additional sealing liquid system is required (when double end faces).
Applicable to: High-pressure pneumatic conveying (positive pressure or vacuum), chemical industry, petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, food (sterility requirements), explosive dust environment and other occasions with extremely high sealing requirements.
